MISSION HILLS, CA – October 31, 2015 – UNICOM Systems, Inc. (“UNICOM”), a Division of UNICOM Global today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with IBM Corporation to acquire the IBM Data Collection suite of products. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
IBM Data Collection is used by customers worldwide to quickly and efficiently acquire clean data for predictive analytics to gain a deeper understanding of people's attitudes, preferences and opinions so valuable insight can be included in decision-making processes. Offering both an on premise and Software as a Service (SaaS) option, IBM Data Collection is the keystone to enterprise-quality sampling and intelligence gathering.

The IBM Data Collection suite of products will be available from UNICOM under the new brand, UNICOM IntelligenceTM, and full information, including customer registration, can be found at unicomsi.com/intelligence. UNICOM intends to implement a dual strategy to enhance both the on premise and SaaS versions of the product.
